Charming Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Novelty Dog Fob Compass Hallmarked Birmingham 1889. Good condition for age. The needle appears to move freely, but I am not certain if it function correctly. The gilt metal insert appears to have shifted slightly. There are some scratches to the glass. Tarnishing and related marks noted. 

Measuring approximately 3.1 cm x 1.8 cm. 
Weighing approximately 5.6 grams.
